One of my co-workers at Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) has insisted (rightfully so, I think) that "we" all learn more about the Web 2.0 tools
She has provided us with a link to 24 "tasks" created by the Public Library of Charolotte & Meckenberg in North Carolina (http://plcmclearning.blogspot.com/2006/08/1-discovery-has-never-been-so-much-fun.html.
I've only gone through the first task, but (as anyone who knows me well can attest!) I LOVED the 7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learners.
The hardest, for me is "Begin with the end in mind (creating Goals)". I find them confining and am always thinking they are a moving target.
The easiest. Ok, there are two PLAY!! (who wouldn't choose that one?) and "Having confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner".
Of course we all need balance in our lives, so when looking for that balance I have that wonderful beach that calls to me where I contemplate my life on a whole different level.......
